Dennis H. Shoff
Chairman

Dennis is the founder and Chairman of Matco Asia. Over the last 30 years he has built up the company to become a strategic partner to the major oil companies in the region. His dedication to the industry has enabled him to grow the company and establish regional presence in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Middle East and Malaysia. He has built up a strong reputation with his supplier-partners like Emerson Process and Westlock Controls. Together, they penetrate new markets, grow and create opportunities in the industry. With over 30 years experience in the industry, his knowledge and expertise is much sought after.

Dan Stiff
Chief Executive Officer

In March 2011 we welcomed aboard our new Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dan Stiff.  Dan comes to us from the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Fleet Support Command, Ship’s Support Unit Singapore, where he held the position of Human Capital Analyst, supporting the Civilian workforce across Asia.  Prior to his analysis position, he held the post of Organizational Leadership, Organizational Ethics and Human Relations within Organizations Professor at Olympic College in Bremerton Washington.  His extensive leadership experience comes from managing businesses in the Timber and Dynamite Industries in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, President and CEO of an International Tour company, and 26 years of service in the U.S. Navy retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer.  Dan is originally from Cottage Grove Oregon, a small logging community in the foothills of the Cascades.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale),  and a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership (with an emphasis on Human Resources) from Chapman University in Orange California. His Doctoral work has been in Cultural Studies with Capella University.

Stefanie Shoff
Executive Director

Mrs. Shoff joined Matco 24 years ago.  Her accomplishments in Matco are a testament to where we are today.  Her Leadership, Vision, and Organizational expertise has given our company a map to success.  Her accomplishments outside of Matco are both philanthropic as well as entrepreneurial.   She has Chaired numerous charitable organizations throughout SE Asia supporting Children’s Orphanages.  She has been Owner and Managing Director in the Fashion, Art, Spa, and advertising industries. 

Jason Ngiam
Chief Financial Officer

Jason joined the company in January 1984 and was responsible for the management of its accounts and office administration. In 1985, he was given an opportunity to learn the products represented by Matco Asia and was appointed Bettis product manger in 1988. He subsequently took up an additional role of Operations Manager which required him to oversee the valve automation operations. He moved up the ranks and was promoted to General Manger in 1994. Jason also assisted in the successful implementation of the ISO 9002 Quality Assurance Program in 1996. He currently leads the contracts, procurement/material & production departments while ensuring the proper supervision of the company's accounts.

Sales & Development Director

Patrick M. Murphy joined Matco Asia as the Sales & Development Director in April 2011.  Mr. Murphy comes to the company from the State of Colorado in the United States.  He has an extensive Sales Management background in the U.S. Auto Industry.  Prior to his Sales Experience, he spent years working as an Engineer in the Commercial Fishing Industry in the Bering Sea in Alaska for American Seafood’s Company on large processing ships.  His working experience in Asia was in Japan supporting the U.S. Army Signal Battalion for the Y2K Battery Plant Replacement project on all of the Military instillations in Central Japan.

Tan Zee Jin
Sales Support Manager

An engineer by training, Zee Jin has more than 15 years in the Oil and Gas and process industries. His technical expertise covers a wide range of equipment including valves, actuators, instrumentations and controls. With his experience in technical sales, he can address and solve tough and demanding issues posed by customers. Zee Jin joined Matco in 1991 and has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Area Sales Manager

Patrick Lye came to us from Emerson Process Management in March of 2010. He has over 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas, Process Industries. His extensive knowledge of MRO, Project sales, Valve Repair, Field Service Work and Planning brings depth to our sales organization. Through that experience he can answer any of your questions for all segments of our industry. His experience has come from holding the position in his previous employment: Senior Sales Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Supervisor and the owner of his own maintenance company

Michael Domingue
Training Manager

Michael has more than 20 years experience in project management; covering the construction, chemical and gas services industries. At Matco he oversees the assembly of actuators, valves and other production issues. As quality plays a central role in all of the company's projects, customers can can be confident of his ability to ensure that products delivered are of the highest quality. Michael joined Matco in 2005.

Herry Cheung
Procurement / Shipping / Store Manager

Joined in December 2007, Herry Cheung is a Business Degree Graduate. He drives the material replenishment & inventory management team which includes overseeing the operations & aligning the Procurement/Material department & Store to meet the company inventory policy. Having years of experience in Material Planning & Procurement, he is dependable, resourceful and excellent in soliciting the best possible price and delivery arrangements to meet MRO & Project Persue Orders. In his leisure, he likes to read and travel the world.

Doris Ng
Executive Secretary

Doris joined Matco in 1988 and held various capacities and was responsible for administrative duties, sales and contract support, ISO implementation and other quality issues. Today, Doris plays a significant role in daily management functions. In addition to being Executive Secretary to the Chairman, she is responsible for general office management.
